Hej, a może by tak wstawić swoje zdjęcie? To łatwe proste i szybkie. Poczujesz się bardziej jak u siebie.
An Irish professor of Literature was at conference in Spain. As a conversational ice breaker, his Spanish host asked if the Irish had a Gaelic word similar in meaning to the Spanish - mañana. Sure said the professor, we have five words similar to mañana, but none of them have quite the same sense of urgency.

'Ah, good morning, Mrs Irwin, and how is everything?'
'Sure and I'm having a great time of it between my husband and the fire. If I keep my eye on the one, the other is sure to go out.'

Two Irishmen, Pat and Murphy, saw sign saying "Tree fellers" wanted.
Murphy said to Pat, said, 'If only Seamus had been with us we'd have got that job.'

and some quotes:

Work is the curse of the drinking classes. Oscar Wilde

Alcohol is a very necessary article. It enables Parliament to do things at eleven at night that no sane person would do at eleven in the morning. George Bernard Shaw

I gotta ask - does 'sure' mean something else in Irish than it does in 'standard british'?

I sure does!
Gotta ask good old Missus Irwin though

I'd say the first sure means the morning is good indeed, in her opinion and the second is used in a pretty run-of-the-mill expression common to all sorts of english.

Did you know that the phrase "Fuck Off!" has two meanings in Irish English?

1. Go away!
2. I cannot believe it!

Since this starts to be a language site here's a piece:

In promulgating your esoteric cogitations or articulating your superficial sentimentalities and amicable philosophical or psychological observations, beware of platitudinous ponderosity.

Let your conversational communications possess a compacted conciseness, a clarified comprehensibility, a coalescent cogency and a concatenated consistency.

Eschew obfuscation and all conglomeration of flatulent garrulity, jejune babblement and asinine affectations.

Let your extemporaneous descants and unpremeditated expatiations have intelligibility and voracious vivacity without rodomontade or thrasonical bombast.

Sedulously avoid all polysyllabic profundity, pompous prolificacy and vain vapid verbosity.

If you are really interested, the above means: "Be brief and don't use long words."

Well, had to balance the F- word somehow....
